AD’ / Hospitality

Interior architecture for hospitality.

The first impression matters, and so does everything that follows: the journey to a treatment room, the space around a dining table, the relationship between a bar and its lounge. We design hospitality interiors around the experience you want to offer and the way your team needs to use the space.

The brief

What should the
interior make possible?

Arrival & atmosphere

Consider what guests see, where they pause and how they find their way. Layout, lighting intent, materials and furniture establish the character of the interior.

Guest use & daily operation

The brief needs both perspectives. We discuss seating, privacy, circulation, cleaning and maintenance with the client and operator, then coordinate relevant requirements with the appointed specialists.

Details before the works

Samples, bespoke drawings and supplier proposals need decisions at the right stage. We develop the interior packages and review their interfaces with the wider project team.

Selected work

A spa, a restaurant, a place to gather.

At Hotel Eden in Rome, we led the Spa redesign from concept through handover. Stone, glass and lighting were developed together, including the illuminated display joinery. KOI Restaurant in Bangkok starts from another kind of hospitality: arrival, the bar, conversation and the atmosphere of dining after dark. Each brief asks different questions of the interior.

Working together

At your property.
With your team.

We work with owners, operators and their appointed architects, engineers and delivery teams. At the outset, we establish the guest experience, operational requirements, existing conditions and next decision milestones. For a refurbishment, access, surveys, approvals and the proposed works programme form part of that conversation. Site visits and reviews are planned around the appointment.

Before we begin

Your project,
your starting point.

Do you work only on hotels?

Our hospitality work includes hotel spas, restaurants, bars, lounges and banquet spaces. The brief and operating model determine the design scope; a focused refurbishment and a complete interior need different appointments.

Can you join before a refurbishment begins?

Yes. Existing plans, photographs, operational requirements and the intended programme help us identify which surveys, design decisions and specialist input are needed before the works.

Can you support a team that already has a design?

Design Direction can guide ongoing design decisions; Technical & Project Review can examine a defined package of drawings, specifications or supplier proposals. Furnishing & Procurement can also be appointed separately.
