At Dorchester Collection’s Hotel Eden in Rome, the Spa gives guests somewhere to pause before treatment. Rounded seating, gentle light and framed reflections give the lounge an intimate character. AD’ led the Spa redesign from concept through handover.
At reception, illuminated stone creates a focal point. The display joinery brings a quieter detail into view: light travels through the worked edge of ultra-clear glass onto the wall. Developing that effect meant considering glass fabrication, lighting and installation together. Interior design, technical review, Italian sourcing and site coordination formed one commission, carrying the atmosphere of the rooms through to the way their details were made.
