Specialist skills and imports are planned alongside the design, so you can understand how the interior will take shape.
Develop the detail for the people making it
Complex joinery, stonework or a bespoke piece may need another way of being made. Through Interior Architecture & Design, we re-engineer complicated elements into drawings and specifications your team can use, considering available materials, fabrication methods and specialist input. We agree how this technical development fits with the work of your architect, engineers and makers.
Bring specialist skills to site
Where an element needs specialist input, AD’ can bring a visiting team to work alongside the people carrying out the job. Practical training helps your local team apply the methods needed for that work. The specialist role, timing and site involvement are agreed for the project.
Plan production, sourcing and imports together
Furniture, materials and bespoke pieces are considered alongside how they will reach the property. Through Furnishing & Procurement, AD’ coordinates sourcing and import planning with your team and appointed customs specialists, including documentation and clearance arrangements for the agreed packages. Where appropriate, we can plan local production from selected materials or components, considering how fabrication and assembly affect transport and import requirements.
Keep continuity with your private office
You can work directly with AD’ or through your family office and trusted representatives. We agree who reviews proposals and approves changes, and carry knowledge of your preferences into future work as your properties and priorities evolve.
An integrated appointment at Sikder Haus
At Sikder Haus in Dhaka, AD’s appointment brought together interior design, bespoke development, engineering and importation across executive and private settings. The building housed the group headquarters alongside two private apartments. Room layouts and individual pieces were developed as part of the same commission.
At the private villa in Phnom Penh, AD’ developed the interior architecture, materials and bespoke furniture. The bar wall drawings include a plan, elevation and section with stone panels, metal shelving and integrated lighting. The project remains a work in progress.
