AD’ / Interior design in Rome

Interior design in Rome

AD’ led Hotel Eden Spa from concept through handover. For your property in Rome, the studio can develop a new interior or work with the team already involved.

Discuss your Rome project

At Dorchester Collection’s Hotel Eden in Rome, illuminated stone gives the Spa reception its focus. Beside it, light travels through the worked edge of an ultra-clear glass display onto the adjacent wall. Rounded seating and framed reflections give the lounge an intimate setting, where guests can pause before treatment.

AD’ developed the complete Spa interior redesign, from concept through handover. The appointment brought together interior design, technical review, Italian sourcing and site coordination.

Hotel Eden Spa: the room and the made detail

The glass display was developed with the makers. Its fabrication, lighting and installation were considered together, alongside its place at reception. The lounge and bespoke pieces were developed as parts of the same interior.

A home in Rome, shaped around your choices

Your brief may begin with an apartment to rethink, a house being renovated or rooms whose character you want to develop. There may be finishes worth retaining, furniture you already own or a particular material you want to bring into the design.

AD’ can develop those preferences into a complete interior, considering the relationship between rooms and the way you want to live and receive people. Material proposals, lighting and bespoke elements are developed with the layouts, so you can review the choices together.

The residential interior design service can begin with a new brief or build on work already prepared for the property.

Hospitality interiors for the operator’s brief

For a hospitality property in Rome, the starting point is the experience the space needs to offer and how the operator intends to use it. A place to arrive, wait, dine or meet brings different priorities to the design.

AD’ develops the interior with the appointed project team, connecting the room’s character with its materials, furniture, lighting and construction details. The commission identifies the spaces to develop and the design information needed for their next stages.

Begin with the property or the decisions ahead

For a new project, the first conversation establishes what you want the interior to become and what is already known about the property.

If work is under way, the current drawings and proposals give AD’ a starting point. The studio can develop the interior design or provide Design Direction for choices that need to be resolved with your existing team.

The next step may be a layout to develop, a material proposal to review or details that need to be coordinated before production. AD’ identifies the relevant work and the information you will receive, so the appointment begins with a clear purpose.

Questions about working together

Can AD’ work with my existing architect or designer?

Yes. AD’s responsibilities and the collaboration with your appointed team are established for the project. Existing plans, proposals and decisions provide the starting information.

How are visits to the property arranged?

Visits and site involvement are planned around the work required. Travel arrangements and associated costs are agreed as part of the appointment.
