AD’ / Interior design in Milan
Interior design for your project in Milan
AD’ develops your apartment interior as a whole, or guides the team you have appointed through the decisions that shape it.
Discuss your Milan projectAn apartment considered as a whole — Warsaw, Poland
At Złota 44 Penthouse in Warsaw, AD’ designed the interiors within the tower by Daniel Libeskind. A pale stone fireplace wall structures the living room, with seating and a bar beside the glazing. The bedroom and adjoining jacuzzi carry the same palette into the private spaces.
The project shows how materials and individual elements can connect an apartment. Tower architecture: Daniel Libeskind. Interior design: AD’ Design Studio.

Start with the apartment
You may be planning a new interior, adapting an existing apartment or taking over a design that still needs decisions. The starting point is the property, the drawings already available and how you want to live there.
We consider how the rooms connect, where you receive guests and what the private spaces need. Layout, lighting, materials and furniture develop together. The position of a dining table affects circulation; a fireplace wall needs to belong to the room; a bar must work with its adjoining seating and glazing. These relationships give individual selections a clear place in the interior.
Appoint AD’, or work with your existing team
For a complete commission, Interior Architecture & Design develops spatial planning, interior details, materials, lighting, furniture and bespoke elements. We agree the drawings and specifications for each stage, coordinating them with your architect and the relevant specialists.
If your architect or designer is already developing the apartment, Design Direction gives AD’ a defined role in the design decisions. Your designer continues to produce their own package. We review the work at agreed milestones, address unresolved choices and guide the next decisions.
Before starting, we identify the people involved, the work each team produces and the review points that need your approval. Visits and sample reviews are planned around the commission.
Resolve the design before placing orders
A furniture selection is more useful when the room has been developed far enough to judge its proportions, materials and lighting. A stone sample needs the context of adjacent finishes and the detail in which it will be used.
For your Milan apartment, we establish which decisions need drawings, samples or a visit, and who needs to confirm them. Furniture and bespoke pieces can then be specified against the agreed design. If the interior is already defined and the remaining work concerns furnishing and orders, Furnishing & Procurement provides a separate appointment.
Before we begin
Questions about your appointment
Can AD’ design an apartment in Milan?
Yes. AD’ is an Italian studio working internationally. We discuss your Milan property, its design stage and the people already involved before defining the appointment.
Can we keep our existing architect or designer?
Yes. With Design Direction, your appointed designer continues developing the design package while AD’ guides reviews and decisions. If AD’ also needs to develop part of the interior design, we identify that work separately in the scope.
What drawings and specifications are included?
For Interior Architecture & Design, we agree the drawings and specifications needed at each stage. Their extent depends on the commission and the division of work with your architect and specialists.
Can AD’ help with samples, furniture and orders?
Yes. Sample reviews and visits are defined within the scope. Furnishing & Procurement can address the furniture and purchasing work, with responsibilities agreed before orders are placed.
What should we explain in the first enquiry?
Tell us where the property is, what you want to change, the current design stage and who is already appointed. Mention any drawings or selections already available so we can discuss the appropriate scope.
